Step 2 - Trademark Registration Application

Preparing & Filing the Trademark Paperwork and IPO processing your application

• Once you have agreed to progress with the application we will prepare and file all the appropriate paperwork for your trademark registration application

• We will engage with all intellectual property offices and agencies on your behalf

• We will advise on any actions required in the event of any oppositions that may arise during the process from any 3rd parties, this includes initial engagement up to the point of compromise or withdrawal, if required we may refer you to a legal partner

• We will keep you informed throughout the entire process

• We will send your your trademark certificate once registered

• Duration: From preparation, filing and assessment by the relevant agencies 3.5 months

Step 3 - Trademark Management

Managing your trademark

Once we have successfully registered your trademark you will receive your trademark certificate. During the registration process we automatically become your IP representatives, this ceases after your registration and the management of your trademark and the receipt of all and any Intellectual Property Office correspondence including opposition management reverts back to you or your company.

To help you manage your intellectual property and trademark we will continue to be your IP representatives for a small monthly fee, the administration services include the below:

IPO correspondence actions:

• A new application has been submitted which has an identical or similar name to yours so they are obligated to inform you to give you the opportunity to oppose - We will receive the correspondence, review and provide the appropriate advice and support which may include managing the opposition process for you

• A third party has submitted an invalidation or revocation request against your trademark - We will receive the correspondence, review and provide the necessary advice and support

• A third party has submitted an opposition against your trademark (this can still happen even if you have a registered trademark) - We will receive the correspondence, review and provide the necessary advice and support which will include engagement with the opponent

• Your trademark has to be renewed at the 10 year point - We will support you in renewing your trademark

• Other administrative actions
